Canoe Trip in Alberta ...

From Ness Creek I went to see my good friends at Birchlake for a night, before heading off to Alberta with friends Doug and Marianne from near livelong, on a five day canoe trip.

We had four glorious days on the N. Saskatchewan starting in Drayton Valley and ending up in Devon, just south and west of Edmonton .... the pictures tell a better story than I can ...

Back to 'toon town .... and on to Ness

It was a little strange coming back to Saskatoon ... the wide clean streets, big sky ... and hardly any people! Fortuantly I took on a gig cooking for the set-up crew of the Ness Creek Festival
followed by the festival itself ... the biggest and best by many accounts.

Here's a little slide show of the festival.

Hello cyberfriends near and far .... it's been a while since I last posted, but my body is back in Saskatoon - although my heart may still be in India.

It's been quite an adventure ... but then what's new?

From monsoon Goa (below), and the lovley Wendy, it was up to Delhi, and, after an overnight at the Tibetan Settlement off to London where I met my friend Josslyn for a few days motoring around Southern England and then on to S. Wales. The only problem was that the monsoon seemed to have followed me .. frustrating my hopes of keeping up the trekking habit I've aquired ... and Josslyn's painting addiction ...
