Homeward Bound

Well I'm back in Goa after a whirlwind trip to Varanasi and Bodh Gaya - places I'd like to go back to when it isn't quite so hot - it topped 45C in Varanasi one afternoon.

It's pre-monsoon weather here - showers, hot and humid - the kind of languid weather that encourages sloth and torpor .... nice to have the opportunity to use those words - let alone experience them! I'm enjoying Wendy and Usha's superb hospitality and getting organized for the trek home and the two weeks in Britain enroute. It will be diffferent returning to the West ... maddening though India is, I think I will miss the place!

I hope to be home in Saskatoon July 8th and will be looking for a small place for the months of August to October ...

I'd also very much like to do a canoe trip in the summer .... mid to late August ... perhaps even the Churchill for a week ... if you're interested do drop me a note and we can chat ...

In the meantime here's an eclectic set of images from the last three weeks.
